Both these online platforms have AI-powered chatbots named Myra and Gia, respectively. Goibibo started with just two engineers and three business managers; the business has about 200 engineers and 300 business workers and managers, including a large business development team.

Fast, innovative culture

The Google Maps Platform deploys only one aspect of ibibo Group’s use of Google technologies. While Goibibo prides itself on knowledge of fast-paced improvement and innovation, the business initially elected to manage traditional workforce productivity applications on in-house servers. Split into the technology team’s capacity to improve the highlights and functionality of its websites and applications.

Dynamic, agile, and scalable applications

As Goibibo grew and set aggressive business targets with market leadership in India and ascertaining a presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, its administrators looked for more dynamic, flexible, and scalable solutions. Goibibo improved cooperation, decision-making, and consequences from teams distributed over offices in Bangalore in southern India and Gurgaon in northern India.

Culture reinforced

Goibibo has moved its engineering and merchandise teams to Google Workspace and is previously reaping the rewards of greater agility and augmented productivity. Goibibo team members now create documents, displays, reports, and spreadsheets in Docs and store them in Drive, where they can be distributed more securely with other relevant workers.

Faster hotel check-ins

Google Workspace and Google Maps Platform has the market turning to Google Cloud to trial a feature that enhances the experience of both customers and hotels when processing guest identifications like drivers’ licenses and Permanent Account Number cards. For hotels, Goibibo decreases the load on staff when reception opens, and many guests may be lining up to check-in.

Firebase at the heart

Goibibo has turned to the Firebase mobile application platform to handle many real-time communications with backend systems. Firebase is residing at the heart of Goibibo’s mobile products, with its mobile chat application also operating on the platform.
